RETIREMENT Notice…

Eastern announces the retirement of one of our long-time leaders and mentors Jim Broomfield, Vice President.

Jim has been an essential part of Eastern for over 42 years, his expertise, leadership, and loyalty have been truly inspiring. Through his wisdom and dedication, he has contributed to the success and growth of many individuals, having taught many of us invaluable lessons we will carry throughout our careers.

Jim started his career as a field engineer and developed to a Gold Seal Certified Superintendent, Project Manager, and Vice President. Jim worked on many projects, which include some of Eastern’s most iconic legacy projects, CBC Broadcast Centre, Metro Toronto Convention Centre South Hall, Sunlife Centre, University of Toronto John H. Daniels Faculty of Architecture, Landscape & Design, Toronto Metropolitan University Daphne Cockwell Health Sciences Complex, and the TRCA Administrative Office Building.

As he embarks on this exciting new chapter, let us thank him for his significant contributions to Eastern over the years and wish him all the best in his retirement.
