Peel Regional Police 23 Division

The new Division is being built using sustainable materials, consistent with the Region of Peel’s net zero carbon commitment.
Once built, the new two-storey 119,600 sq. ft. Peel Regional Police – Division 23 facility will be located at the corner of Coolhurst Avenue and Lagerfeld Drive, in Brampton, Ontario. Division 23’s core functions will include public-facing engagement, workspaces and a cell block. The three-wing design will securely accommodate these functions, with the public-facing wing presenting a welcoming civic face, with the business wing hidden from public view and the cell block facing an outdoor area.
Additional amenities include a lobby and reception area, collision reporting centre, administration and office areas, staff offices, support areas such as boardrooms, lunchrooms, gym and change rooms, two levels of belowgrade parking. This facility includes post-disaster design, solar panels, heat pumps, on-site backup electrical and mechanical systems.
Division 23’s will support officers’ emotional well-being through connectedness and opportunities for decompression, to ensure the fidelity of police work, and to provide a safe and healthy workplace by emphasizing ventilation, natural light, dynamic workspaces and nature.
