Gateway Point Edward Charity Casino Renovations

Gateway Point Edward Casino is located in the glistening waterfront of St. Clair River, just outside Sarnia in the Village of Point Edward.
Eastern Construction constructed the original Point Edward Charity Casino back in the year of 2000, transforming the abandoned 1950s CN Rail shed into a new casino. The casino was rebranded and renamed to Starlight Point Edward Casino. In November 2018, renovations were complete on-time for the official re-opening of the state-of-the-art gaming, dining and entertainment facilities. Eastern Construction was awarded the construction management contract early 2017. Mobilization of the site began in the summer of 2017.
The Starlight Point Edward Casino was divided into multiple phases; construction encompassed a new gaming floor, a new restaurant (Match Eatery + Public House) with outdoor heated patio, the Nova bar, washrooms, and new mechanical and electrical systems. The casino was fully operational during construction.
Safety of the public, staff, and subcontractors was a top priority for Gateway and Eastern Construction. The building has become a focal point for residents of Point Edward, Sarnia-Lambton region and guests across the border who are all excited to see and experience the upgraded casino.
