Project Details

The new Instructional Centre provides additional modernized and technologically advanced facilities for teaching. Some of the features included are a 500-seat auditorium, 350-seat auditorium, numerous tiered classrooms with 40 to 150-seat capacity, seminar rooms, computer labs, study space, food service area and Technology Resource Centre. The building consists of one basement level and three levels above grade, incorporating a central feature staircase. A concrete structure is utilized with strategic use of post-tensioning. The exterior wall cladding is a combination of curtainwall and copper alpolic panels. The building has achieved LEED® Silver Certification.
