Retail & Shopping Centres
Involved in well over one hundred shopping centre projects in Canada, Eastern is one of the largest contractors in the construction of shopping malls. Many of these projects were over one million square feet, with such retail giants as Sears and Wal-Mart as tenants.

Educational Buildings
Eastern has been involved with the construction of almost every University campus in Ontario. Projects include buildings for residence, libraries and instruction. Our involvement in this sector has built award-winning teams. Projects have also included elementary and high school construction, renovations and retrofits.

Entertainment
Many of the entertainment facilities that Eastern has undertaken involve working with complex and unusual design elements. The facilities vary from cinemas and casinos, tracks for horse racing and theatres. Much of Eastern's involvement in the hospital sector has been through additions and renovation work. Increased attention and care must be taken during construction to avoid disruption the day-to-day operation of the facilities and patient care.

Renovations
Eastern has been involved in renovation and tenant fit-ups for over forty years. Much of this work requires special attention and construction during off-peak hours.
